"The people are thirsty to have the amendment of the Constitution"
In the spring of 2018, Moon Jae-In Administration's efforts to bloom peace are supported and welcomed by the United States, followed by China and Japan. On March 12, Chinese President xi Jinping expressed the expectation that "The ice will melt on the Korean peninsula and flowering springtime will come." Japanese Foreign Minister Konodaro responded, "Now East Asia is in a situation just before the miracle." It is welcomed that China and Japan, which are neighboring countries of the Korean
peninsula, show great expectations for peace on the Korean peninsula with one voice.
Yesterday, President Moon Jae-in directed that the National Assembly have a proposal until the very last moment and respect "the Amendment Resolution of the National Assembly." Our Party has also repeatedly stated that the amendment resolution of the National Assembly consistently has been the priority of the Constitution, and we have waited for the Constitution to urge the Constitutional amendment bill and negotiate.
The people who are sovereign are strictly watching how the National Assembly is working on the amendment. The people are thirsty for the constitutional amendment that changes their lives, and that the nation keep their hope and guide the path. It is time for the National Assembly to respond.
